2020 RS:X WINDSURFING YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Athens International Sailing Center is a state-of-the-art sailing center, which operates from 2018 at the facilities of the Hellenic Sailing Federation, after its full restructuring.
To go into greater detail at the Athens International Sailing Center Greece can offer a one of a kind sailing facility, with a state of the art infrastructure, as experienced recently by international sailors (World, Olympic and European Champions) that have taken part in our training camps and includes: Ideal waters and sailing weather conditions.
- 4 ramps able to launch 150 dinghies into the water in just 15 minutes, 2 ramps servicing the coaching rubber boats, as well as 4 cranes.
- Large parking areas ideal for both trailers and vans.
- Large meeting room with all the latest tech requirements.
- A private and fully equipped gym.
- High Speed Internet access is available across the entire facility.
- In a 5km radius sailors and their teams can access 8 shops selling top quality sailing equipment, 3 sailmakers and repairs facilities as well as 3 boat repair specialists available on site.
- An arrangement in place for a 40% discount on the Italy - Greece Ferry line.
- Newly built motorways for quick and easy access to the Greek capital directly from the port of Patra.
